There was no question who the Cowboys looked towards in order to lead them to the promise land. Possession after possession the Cowboys force fed Moses the ball and he continued to produce. Attacking the paint over and over, it was clear that he was unguardable. Whether it was diving for loose balls, or scoring when it was needed, Moses was the man. Moses scored a total of 32 points before exiting the game with an injury with two minutes left. In a game that was very competitive for the entire duration, the difference in three pointers made gave the Thunderwolves the overall advantage on the scoreboard. Both teams shot nearly the same field goal percentage and made the same amount of shots. The Thunderwolves went 9-23 from deep while NMHU was 3-13. The Thunderwolves also outrebounded the Cowboys 29-21.
