Denver, Colorado - New Mexico Highlands senior
Andrew Amor made history Saturday at the 2023 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships by becoming the first runner in school history to win the event and thus become RMAC Runner of the Year. Amor finished the 8k course at Denver's Washington Park in 23:58.4, nearly 13 seconds faster than the second place finisher.
This marks the third consecutive year that Amor has earned All-RAMC honors after finishing 21st in 2022 and 5th in 2021. Amor earned All-American honors in each of the previous two seasons as well.
