Las Vegas, New Mexico - The New Mexico Highlands volleyball team is headed back to Alamosa for the second time this season. Earlier this season the Grizzlies hosted the Cowgirls in an RMAC match, this trip is for a pair of non-conference matches as part of the RMAC's Power Pod weekend. NMHU will face Adams State on Thursday and Chadron State on Friday; both matches are scheduled to start at 6:00 pm at ASU's Plachy Hall. The matches do not count towards conference records.
Host Adams State is 5-15 overall this season, two of those wins are over the Cowgirls earlier this season. The Girizzles are 7-3 over their last 10 matches with New Mexico Highlands dating back to the 2018 season.
Chadron State and New Mexico Highlands will meet for the first time this season on Friday evening. The Eagles are currently 11-9 overall and 5-5 in conference play. Chadron State and Cowgirls have split their last 10 meetings 5-5 dating back to the 2014 season. The Eagles will host the Cowgirls on November 4th for each teams' regular season finale.
