Las Vegas, New Mexico - The New Mexico Highlands volleyball team is on the road this weekend for a pair of RMAC matches. On Friday the Cowgirls head to downtown Denver to play the nationally ranked Roadrunners of MSU Denver at 6:00 pm. Then, on Saturday, they travel to Golden for a 5:00 pm match with the Colorado School of Mines.
MSU Denver, ranked #7 in this week's AVCA Top 25, sits atop the RMAC standings with an overall record of 11-3 and 4-0 in the RMAC. The Roadrunners are led by Head Coach Jenny Glenn who is in her eighth season at MSU Denver. The Cowgirls dropped a 3-0 decision to the Roadrunners in the last meeting in the series on October 15th of last year.
The Colorado School of Mines is currently 7-7 on the season and 1-3 in RMAC play. Jamie Magali is in her 16th season leading the Oreiggers. Saturday's match marks the 63rd meeting between the two schools with CSM holding a 34-28 edge in the series dating back to the late 1970s.
NMHU enters the weekend's action at 1-14 and 0-4 in the conference.
Tom Duke is in his 9th season leading the Cowgirls. The former USC standout led New Mexico Highlands to RMAC Playoff berths in 2004, 2005, and 2021.
