Las Vegas, New Mexico - The Cowgirls finished the year with a 3-1 lost to the Griffins of Westminster University. The Cowgirls kept it close and with their back against the walls in set three the Cowgirls showed life as they won the third set to send the match to four sets and after a hard fought fourth set the Cowgirls could not pull away.
Seraiah Morgan and Aziza Morris led the Cowgirls with 13 Kills for Morgan and 10 Kills for Morris.
Layla Hooks and Seraiah Morgan had four blocks each while Abby Carlsen led the team with 22 assists.
The Cowgirls will wrap up the season on the road next weekend as they head to Lakewood, Colorado to take on the Colorado Christian Cougars at 7PM on Friday and then play the season finale on Saturday at 4PM in Chadron,Nebraska against the Eagles of Chadron State.
