Cowgirls Start the Season 1-1

Los Lunas - The Cowgirls split day one at the South Central Regional Challenge going 1-1 against Simon Fraser University (B.C.) and West Texas A&M University.

The Cowgirls were victorious in game 1 vs Simon Fraser University (B.C.) 7-5 and fell in their second game against West Texas A&M University 7-0 in the night cap.

When asked about her first collegiate win as a head coach:

"I was hyped. These girls are gonna give me wrinkles. I'm a little emotional right now. This is the first one of my career." - Interim Head Coach Ashley Forshee, 23 years old, with no wrinkles.



The Cowgirls play the final two of of the South Central Regional Challenge tomorrow in Los Lunas at 1p and 3p.
