New Mexico Highlands and Northwestern Oklahoma State played to a 2-2 draw on Thursday evening in Enid, Oklahoma.Ā The match was played at the Advance Soccer Complex in Enid due to the weather on the NWOSU campus in Alva.
NWOSU opened the scoring Thursday with a goal 22:00 minutes into the match. The Cowgirls would respond just six minutes later when
Izzie Scott tied the match on a goal assisted by
Mia Ortiz. Three minutes later,
Paige Gowen put NMHU up 2-1 as she found the back of the net with an unassisted goal. The final score of the night game from the Rangers mid-way through the second half.

Parker Frei made 12 saves on the night for the Cowgirls. After Thursday's action, Frei leads the RMAC with 6.33 saves per match.
The Cowgirls continue their trip through the Sooner State on Saturday afternoon when they play Southern Nazarene in Bethany. Match time is 12:00 pm (MT).
