Las Vegas, New Mexico - The New Mexico Highlands volleyball team returns home for a pair of conference matches Friday and Saturday against UCCS and Regis respectively.
UCCS enters Friday's match in Las Vegas with a record of 4-6 overall and 2-0 in conference play. The Mountain Lions opened RMAC play last weekend at home with wins over South Dakota Mines and Black Hills State.
Friday's match will be the 46th meeting all-time between these two teams with UCCS holding a 27-18 lead in the series history. The Mountain Lions beat the Cowgirls last season 3-0 in Colorado Springs. NMHU handed UCCS a 3-0 loss in the Mountain Lions last trip to Las Vegas in 2021.
Regis University has a record of 7-3 overall and 2-0 in conference action and are ranked 16th in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association Division II Top 25. The Rangers defeated South Dakota Mines and Black Hills State in Denver last weekend.
