Las Vegas, New Mexico - Nationally ranked Colorado School of Mines defeated the New Mexico Highlands women's basketball team 68-47 on Saturday evening in the Wilson Complex. With the loss, the Cowgirls fall to 4-12 overall and 3-7 in conference play. The Orediggers, currently ranked eighth in the latest WBCA Division II poll, improve to 14-1 overall and 9-0 in the RMAC.

Emily Burk paced NMHU with nine points as she converted three of four attempts from beyond the arc.

Vanessa Herrera each grabbed five rebounds and
Neysa Munguia had a game high two blocks.
The Cowgirls return to action this coming Tuesday as they will be in Colorado for a 5:30 pm game at CSU-Pueblo.
