Colorado Christian enters play against the Cowboys at 5-4 overall and 2-2 in conference play after losing to visiting Black Hills State 85-56 last Saturday. Sophomore Bradley Lamb leads the Cougars in scoring (15.4 per game) and rebounding (6.1 per game). Liam Simmons is in his fifth season at the helm of the Cougars where he has a record of 38-74. NMHU beat the Cougars twice last season winning 72-63 in historic Las Vegas and 101-93 in Lakewood.
Thursday night's game at Colorado Christian marks the third of three games against RMAC foes that are non-conference games this season. NMHU defeated CSU-Pueblo 85-63 and Western Colorado 94-86 last month in non-conference contests.

After Thursday's game with the Cougars the Cowboys break for the holidays. Their next game is on January 9th in Grand Junction against Colorado Mesa. The next home game for NMHU is scheduled for January 16th against Black Hills State.
