Las Vegas, New Mexico - The Cowboys are in Nebraska on Friday to kick-off a weekend road trip. Game time at Chadron State is set for 7:30 pm. The Cowboys defeated the Eagles in Las Vegas 75-61 earlier this season as
Kenard Richardson and
AC Curry combined for 39 points. The Eagles are 11-11 overall and 8-8 in the RMAC heading into Friday's match-up with NMHU.
On Saturday the Cowboys will be in Lakewood to play Colorado Christian in a 7:00 pm game. The Cougars, 9-13 overall and 5-11 in conference games, will host CSU-Pueblo on Friday night. NMHU beat the Cougars 72-63 on December 1st behind
Ezichi Kalu's 15 point, 12 rebound performance.
The Cowboys enter the weekend at 8-13 overall and 5-11 in RMAC games.
Kenard Richardson (11.0 points per game) and
Kyrie Thomas (10.2) lead NMHU in scoring.
Ezichi Kalu is among the RMAC leaders in rebounding at 7.8 per game and blocked shots with 1.2 per game.
Kenard Richardson is fourth in the RMAC free throw percentage at 86.5% and as a team NMHU is fourth converting 74% of its free throw opportunities.
The Cowboys return home next weekend to play nationally ranked Colorado Mesa on Friday and Westminster on Saturday.
