Softball In Colorado To Open RMAC Season

Las Vegas, New Mexico - The Cowgirls are in Colorado to open the 2024 RMAC season against UCCS with doubleheaders on Sunday and Monday. The games have been moved from the UCCS campus to Pueblo.

The Cowgirls have been off since posting a 4-1 record in the South Central Region Crossover with wins over Western New Mexico, Simon Fraser, UT-Permian Basin and Eastern New Mexico.The Mountain Lions enter play on Sunday with a record of 3-6, they split a midweek double header with Northwestern Oklahoma State.

The two teams have played 39 games previously with UCCS holding a 29-10 lead in the series history.

After the games with UCCS, the Cowgirls play their home opener next weekend as MSU-Denver comes to Las Vegas.
