UCCS Defeats The Cowgirls

Las Vegas, New Mexico - UCCS defeated the Cowgirls 71-58 on Friday evening in the Wilson Complex. The Cowgirls are now 4-16 overall and 3-11 in the RMAC. The Mountain Lions improve to 14-7 overall and 11-4 in conference play.

Delani Harris posted a career high 23 points going 7-11 from the floor and 9-11 from the free throw line. Harris added nine rebounds, three blocked shots and a steal for the Cowgirls.

Juliana Aragon and Neysa Munguia added nine and eight points respectively for NMHU.

NMHU shot 44.9% from the floor on Friday. UCCS won the battle of the boards 31-26.

The Cowgirls return to action on Saturday as they play host to Regis at 5:30 pm. The Rangers dropped an 83-70 decision to CSU-Pueblo on Friday.
