Grand Junction, Colorado - The Cowgirls dropped both ends of Friday's doubleheader at Colorado Mesa losing 12-1 and 10-2.
The only run in the opening game came when the Cowgirls drew back-to-back walks to begin the fourth as Karla Beegas recorded an RBI with a single up the middle.
In game two the Cowgirls plated a pair of runs in their half of the fourth inning as
Carlee Gonzalez and
Heaven Medina each recorded RBIs.
The Cowgirls are 11-20 overall and 7-19 in the RMAC.
