Denver, Colorado - The Cowboys dropped both ends of Sunday's doubleheader at MSU-Denver losing 17-0 in the opener and 9-8 in game two.
In Sunday's first game, the Roadrunners pitching staff held the Cowboys in check allowing just four hits over seven innings.
Gael Bernal was two for four in the game.
The Cowboys dropped game two in heart breaking fashion as MSU-Denver won with a walk-off homerun with one out in the bottom of the eighth inning.
Tucker Simpson,
Alan Salas,
Oscar Trillo, and
Lubby Marrujo each recorded two hits for the Cowboys.
The Cowboys are now 7-27 overall and 3-13 in the RMAC.
Up next, UCCS will visit Las Vegas for a four game series beginning on Friday at 3:00 pm.
