Las Vegas, New Mexico - New Mexico Highlands Cross Country hosts the annual HU XC Jam this Friday afternoon. The races will be held at the Gene Torres Golf Course, site of the 2024 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday, October 26th.
Cross Country competed at the Roadrunners Invitational last Saturday at Washington Park in Denver and a pair of freshmen were the top runners for the men's and women's team. For the Cowboys
James Kurui finished fourth with a time of 25:37.30 on the 8k course. The Cowgirls saw
Summer Abeyta complete the 5k course in 19:30.80 to lead the way.
