Las Vegas, New Mexico - The Cowboys look to build on Saturday's win over Chadron State as they hit the road for five straight games starting Thursday night at UCCS. NMHU is 8-8 overall and 1-7 in the RMAC.
COACH DOMINGUEZ:
Mike Dominguez is in his sixth season leading the Cowboys. The Colorado Mesa product has a career record of 62-66 at NMHU. His first career win came on November 5, 2019, when he led the Cowboys to a 112-108 win over Eastern New Mexico. His first RMAC victory came on December 6, 2019, when he coached NMHU to a 98-83 victory at Fort Lewis.
BY THE NUMBERS: The Cowboys are averaging 80.8 points per game which is third best in the RMAC.

Kenard Richardson is second in the RMAC at 17.1 points per game. He is tied for fourth in the conference with 1.6 steals per game.

Kyrie Thomas is tied for tenth in the RMAC with 2.0 three point shots made per game and tied for ninth in the conference at 1.4 steals per game.

Ezzy Dawson is tenth in rebounding in the RMAC at 5.6 per game

SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION: UCCS is 10-6 overall and 4-4 in conference play. William Becker leads the Mountain Lions in scoring (15.3 per game) and rebounding (9.1 per game). Jeff Culver is in his 13th season at UCCS where he has a career record of 196-156. UCCS will visit historic Las Vegas for the second game of the season series on Saturday February 22nd.
CSU Pueblo enter's this week's games at 8-8 overall and 3-5 in the RMAC. The Thunderwolves host Adams State on Thursday before welcoming the Cowboy's for Saturday afternoon's game. Walter Brevin leads the Thunderwolves in scoring at 12.1 per outing. De'Shaun Cooper is the team's leading rebounder with 5.9 per game. Matt Hammer is in his sixth season at CSU Pueblo where he has a career record of 60-87. The two teams met earlier in the season playing a non-conference game in Las Vegas which the Cowboys won 85-63.
