Las Vegas, New Mexico - Cowgirls soccer heads to the Mile High City for a road match-up against the MSU-Denver Roadrunners.
Cowgirls:
The Cowgirls enter this match-up seeking their first conference win following a couple of losses in the opening weekend of conference play.
LAST TIME OUT:
The Cowgirls fell at the hands of Black Hills State after holding the lead in the first half and then dropping the second game to Regis. SeniorÂ
Kate Rayner got her first goal of the season last week against Black Hills State. It's Rayner's sixth career goal.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS:
MSU-Denver is seeking its first win of the season, currently 0-4-4 overall and 0-1-1 in the RMAC. Katie Hooker is in her first year at the helm of the Roadrunners program after spending 19 years at the University of Denver as an assistant coach.

Amanda Evans on the point of emphasis this week. "We have been focusing on three things this week. One is just our one-on-one defending. Two is just scanning, being more aware of our surroundings, and the third is being more aggressive if we are not winning those 50/50 balls, we are not winning."
