Las Vegas, New Mexico - The Cowboys are home this week for games with Westminster on Thursday night and Colorado Mesa on Saturday afternoon. NMHU is 9-13 overall and 2-12 in the RMAC.
COACH DOMINGUEZ:
Mike Dominguez is in his sixth season leading the Cowboys. The Colorado Mesa product has a career record of 64-72 at NMHU. His first career win came on November 5, 2019, when he led the Cowboys to a 112-108 win over Eastern New Mexico. His first RMAC victory came on December 6, 2019, when he coached NMHU to a 98-83 victory at Fort Lewis.
SENIOR RECOGNITION: Saturday is Senior Day presented by Quality Care and
Kyrie Thomas and
Kenard Richardson will be recognized prior to the game with UCCS.
BY THE NUMBERS: The Cowboys are averaging 78.9 points per game which is third best in the RMAC.

SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION: Colorado Christian is 10-14 overall and 6-20 in conference play. Bradley Land leads the Cougars in scoring (14.7 points per game) and rebounding (5.3 per game). Liam Simmons is in his 5th season at Colorado Christian and he has a career record of 43-84. NMHU defeated Colorado Christian 65-58 in a non-conference game on December 19th.
UCCS enters play this week at 16-8 overall and 10-6 in the RAMC. The Mountain Lions play at Adams State on Thursday night before Saturday afternoon's game in historic Las Vegas. William Becker leads UCCS in scoring (15.1 points per game) and rebounding (9.0 per game). Jeff Culver is in his 13th season at UCCS where he has a record of 202-158. The Mountain Lions narrowly defeated the Cowboys 81-78 on January 23rd in Colorado Springs.
