Las Vegas, New Mexico - The Cowboys are in South Dakota to close out the 2024-25 campaign with games at South Dakota Mines on Thursday night and Black Hills State on Saturday afternoon. NMHU is 11-15 overall and 4-14 in the RMAC.
COACH DOMINGUEZ:
Mike Dominguez is in his sixth season leading the Cowboys. The Colorado Mesa product has a career record of 65-73 at NMHU. His first career win came on November 5, 2019, when he led the Cowboys to a 112-108 win over Eastern New Mexico. His first RMAC victory came on December 6, 2019, when he coached NMHU to a 98-83 victory at Fort Lewis.
BY THE NUMBERS: The Cowboys are averaging 78.9 points per game which is fourth best in the RMAC. Senior
Kenard Richardson is sixth in the RMAC at 14.9 points per game.

Kyrie Thomas is seventh with 2.0 three pointers made per game.

SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION: South Dakota Mines is 4-22 overall and 4-14 in RMAC play this season. For the Hardrockers, Freshman Tre Dowdell leads the team in scoring at 12.0 points per game and Keagen Smith is the leading rebounder at 5.2 per outing. Eric Glenn is in his seventh season at South Dakota Mines where he has a career mark of 72-116.
Black Hills State is 15-11 overall and 11-7 in conference play heading into this week's games. The Yellow Jackets entertain Adams State on Thursday night before their game with the Cowboys on Saturday. Cam Lowe averages 14.8 points and 7.8 rebounds to lead BHSU. Ryan Thompson is in his seventh season at the helm of the Yellow Jackets where he has a career record of 136-65. Black Hills State topped NMHU 71-56 on January 16th in Las Vegas.
