Las Vegas, New Mexico - New Mexico Highlands University sophomore quarterback Collin Stucki has been named the D2Football.com National Offensive Player of the Week following his record-setting performance Saturday afternoon against Colorado Mesa in Grand Junction.
The national recognition comes just one day after Stucki was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Offensive Player of the Week.
Stucki becomes the first New Mexico Highlands player to earn D2Football.com's National Offensive Player of the Week honors since Jeffrey Jones received the recognition in Week One of the 2025 season.
Stucki completed 36 of 62 passes for a career-high 507 yards and five touchdowns while adding 59 rushing yards and another score in the Cowboys' 59-46 setback against the Mavericks.
According to D2Football.com, Stucki's 566 yards of total offense were the most recorded by an NCAA Division II player in a game this season. His 507 passing yards were the second-highest single-game total in Division II this year and marked just the third 500-yard passing performance nationally.
Behind Stucki's performance, Highlands amassed 639 yards of total offense and recorded 33 first downs.
Stucki and the Cowboys return to Sanchez Family Stadium on Saturday hosting Adams State at noon in their final home game of the season.
