Cowgirls Go The Distance With Chargers

Tyler, Texas- The Cowgirls took on the Hillsdale College Chargers to start this trip in Texas.


Game 1: Hillsdale 5 - NMHU 3
The Cowgirls started the game with one run in both the first and fourth innings, but then Hillsdale scored three runs in the 5th inning. To take a 3-2 lead headed into the bottom of the seventh and with their backs against the wall, Jazmyn Griego hits a solo shot to send it to extra innings. However, the Chargers wasted no time scoring two runs, and the Cowgirls were unable to score in the bottom half and lost the game.
