Las Vegas, New Mexico- The Cowgirls closed out their series with the Eagles of Chadron State
Game 3: Chadron State (CSC)Â 2 - NMHU 3 ( 10 Innings)
The Cowgirls struck first with a run in the third inning off a Yasmin Villa single to make it 1-0. Chadron State would then get a run in the fifth and a run in the sixth, then the Cowgirls answered with Hallie Watkins' homer, the first of her Cowgirl career, tying this one up. The game would go into extras. London Lamb entered the game in the 7th and was excellent. The Cowgirls used three pitchers in the game, as Lamb was the third pitcher in this one. Jolissa Valdez reentered in the 10th and threw one pitch to twist the double play. A Hannah Hopkins single would set up the winning run, standing on first; then Andrea DeLaTrinidad would bloop a single; then the centerfielder would make a bad throw that would advance the winning run to third with one out. A Gianna Marez single would win the first game of the day and the third game of the series, securing the series victory.
 Game 4: CSC 0 - NMHU 1
The Cowgirls once again took the lead to start the game on a walk that scored a run with the bases loaded. That would be the only run scored as
Jazmyn Griego was excellent, going seven innings, shutout to complete the sweep.
Hallie Watkins also had two players caught stealing
