Colorado Springs, Colorado - New Mexico Highlands placed two players on the 2026 All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Team as announced today by the league office.
Marcus Pierce earned Second Team All-RMAC honors, while
Ramiah Adedigba was named an Honorable Mention selection.
The All-RMAC teams and awards are selected and voted on by the league's 15 head coaches. Coaches are not permitted to vote for their own players.
Pierce was the Cowboys' leading scorer at 14.9 points per game this season while playing in 27 games. He scored a career-high 27 points at nationally ranked Black Hills State on February 21. He was also among the RMAC leaders in field goal percentage (47.9%) and free throw percentage (82.6%).
Adedigba played in 27 games this season and averaged 12.0 points per game while shooting 52.1% from the field and 83.1% from the free throw line. He recorded a career-high 28 points in the Cowboys' upset win over Fort Lewis in early February.
"I'm extremely happy for Marcus and Ramiah on their well-deserved recognition. There are a ton of outstanding players in our league," said Head Coach
Zach Settembre. "We have other guys on our roster that deserved recognition at the conference level, and I'm disappointed to see the amount of representation from teams below us in the standings. When I voted, I rewarded players from teams who qualified for the postseason, but it seems I'm in the minority. Congratulations to all those recognized. While we are still hurting from Tuesday's heartbreaking defeat, we can't wait to be back on the court representing Highlands next season. Go Cowboys!"
The Cowboys finished the 2025-26 season with a 13-19 overall record and an 11-9 mark in RMAC play, qualifying for the conference tournament for the first time since the 2021-22 season.
