Las Vegas, New Mexico - New Mexico Highlands Cowboys played their final game at home in the 2026 season today against the Rangers of Regis.

The Rangers jumped out to an early lead, scoring seven unanswered runs, including four on a grand slam.
The Cowboys finally got one run in the 5th. Lubby Marrujo got the scoring started with an RBI single, and the Cowboys then added three more to make it a 7-4 ball game.
The Rangers got three in the 7th. However, the Cowboys would answer.
In the bottom half of the inning, the Cowboys would score 12 runs, sending 17 players to the plate. The Cowboys got 12 runs on 10 hits and two errors in the 7th, powering them ahead.
The Rangers got two runs back, but the Cowboys matched it with two more and would win the game 18-12.
