NMHU Athletic Training Add Two Athletic Trainers

Las Vegas, New Mexico--- New Mexico Highlands University announced the hiring of two new Athletic Trainers to the staff today, Kaylie Langer and Nicole Robinson.

Kaylie Langer:
Prior to coming to Historic Las Vegas, Langer was the Assistant Athletic Trainer at RMAC Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado, where she was the primary trainer for Men's and Women's Soccer, Men's Basketball, Men's Lacrosse, and Women's Golf. She also shared coverage for Football, Track and Field, Cross Country, and Women's basketball.

Langer has also served as the Athletic Trainer for the Blue Stars and Seattle Cascades of Drum Corps International. Along with being the GA Head Athletic Trainer at CREC Academy of Computer Science and Engineering, where she oversaw high school athletics.

She got a Bachelor of Science at Springfield College and a Master of Science from the University of Connecticut (UConn)

While at UConn, Langer served as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for Club Sports, supporting teams such as Men's and Women's Basketball, Ice Hockey, Field Hockey, Volleyball, Softball, and Rugby.

Nicole Robinson:
Prior to her arrival in Historic Las Vegas, Robinson was at NAIA Cottey College in Nevada, Missouri. Robinson was an Assistant Athletic Trainer and Strength and Conditioning specialist. She was the primary for Women's Volleyball, Basketball, Track and Field, Cross Country, Flag Football, and Archery.

Robinson also served as an Athletic Training student for the Dallas Wings of the WNBA in Arlington, Texas, during the 2023 season.

Robinson received her Bachelor of Science from Missouri Southern State University and her Master's in Athletic Training from the University of Arkansas.

While at Arkansas, she was an Athletic Training student for the Razorbacks, Baseball, Women's Basketball, and Women's Golf teams.

Robinson will oversee Volleyball, Women's Basketball, and Baseball, while Langer will oversee Soccer, Men's Basketball, and Softball in the 2026-2027 seasons.
