Las Vegas, New Mexico - New Mexico Highlands University will travel to Denver on Wednesday, July 22, for the 2026 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Football Media Day at Metropolitan State University of Denver.

Kurt Taufa'asau, entering his third season with the Cowboys, will be joined by student-athletes
Dontaivious Nelson and
Collin Stucki. New Mexico Highlands is scheduled to take the stage at 10:30 am. Live coverage will be available on the

In addition to team interviews and season previews, the RMAC will release the 2026 Preseason Coaches' Poll and Preseason All-Conference Team during the event.
The Cowboys open the 2026 season on Thursday, August 27, hosting Eastern New Mexico at 6:00 p.m. in historic Las Vegas, New Mexico. The contest marks the first of five home games during the 2026 campaign.
