Canyon, Texas- The Cowgirls played their second game of the year on Saturday in Texas as they took on the Lady Buffalos of West Texas A&M.
 
The Cowgirls were outshot by West Texas A&M and that would play in the favor of the Lady Buffalos as they were able to find the back of the net three times in the game.
 
Mathilda Brücke records 12 saves in today's contest. Senior keeper Peyton Greener recorded three saves in her time on the pitch today.
 
The Cowgirls only were able to get four shots on the day as the Cowgirls ultimately feel 3-0.
 
UP NEXT: The Cowgirls play their home opener on Thursday September 3 at Cinder Road field at the Old Memorial High school in Historic Las Vegas against St. Mary's out of San Antonio Texas.
