Las Vegas, NM– The Cowgirls travel partner Adams State traveled to Historic Las Vegas for a Tuesday match.

The Cowgirls jumped out to an early lead and continued to build the lead, forcing a 13-4 score forcing an Adams State timeout.

The timeout seemed to take the Cowgirls out of rhythm as they went on a slight three-point run.

The Grizzlies continued to inch forward, forcing a Cowgirls timeout after tying it at 16 the two teams exchanged points back and forth, turning set one into and old fashion shoot out.

The second set of the evening was provided a point exchange throughout the set as it seemed once a team had a lead the set would be tied suddenly as the largest lead would be four held by New Mexico Highlands during multiple moments of the set.

Adams State, however, was not going to back down and began to fight their way back into the set forcing a Cowgirls timeout, the Grizzlies would then fight back to win their second set after the Cowgirls held a lead throughout the match.
 
What started as a point then point exchange between the two was later controlled by Adams State as the Cowgirls would have a plethora of attacking errors.

On top of that, the Grizzlies would also have control in the blocks category as there seemed to be no way of slowing down the Grizzlies on the Cowgirls defensive end.

The Grizzlies controlled the third set to complete the sweep handing the Cowgirls their first loss of RMAC play at home.
