Denver, CO- After weather moved this afternoon's game to The Mile High City the Cowgirls faced off with the Roadrunners of MSU-Denver.
 
Three minutes into the match the Roadrunners found themselves an opening goal off the right foot that snuck past the Cowgirls keeper.
 
The Cowgirls' defense stood strong but after a throw in deep in the Cowgirls' own end the Roadrunners put the pressure on the Cowgirls' defense, and the Roadrunners were able to get a good shot off and find the back off the net to make it a 2-0 score.
 
The Cowgirls' offense came out applying pressure and then in the 70 minute the Roadrunners were able to get a goal to go up 3-0 then after a minute of play goes by and the runners end up in the scoring column again.
 
The deficit was to large and the Cowgirls would fall on the road. They are now preparing to return home for Homecoming week next week.
 
UP NEXT: The Cowgirls are back at home for the big week of homecoming in which they will face Fort Lewis College on Thursday and Western Colorado on Saturday.
