HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in cross country five years and track and field four years at Robertson High School and coach Pat Garcia ... A five-time all-district runner for cross country and helped the Cardinals to three district titles ... Was a two-time all-state honoree at the cross country state championships (third place in 2013, seventh place in 2014) ... Won the district title in the 3,200 in 2014 ... Received all-state honors in the 1,600.

PERSONAL: Majoring in biology ... Born in Denver, Colorado ... Enjoys being outdoors, hiking, reading and spending time with family, friends and animals ... Chose NMHU because: "It was close to home, I liked the biology program and there's good coaching at NMHU."
