Ryan Lauer is currently beginning his first season as an assistant baseball coach in charge of pitching and catching after spending the last three seasons as an assistant coach at Culver Stockton College.

Lauer is no stranger to the Las Vegas area as he played in the local Pecos League, a professional independent league consisting of teams in New Mexico, Colorado and Arizona. In the league, Lauer averaged .348 and hit 17 home runs, appeared in a pair of championships and was named an all-star.

With playing stints at both Butte and Feather River Colleges, Lauer graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sport management.

Ryan is the son of Jim and Deedee Lauer and had one sister, Lexi.
