Stefania Sideri begins her first season as assistant coach for the NMHU women's basketball team.

Sideri played collegiately at the University of Portland and at New Mexico Highlands. A native of Athens, Greece, Sideri played for the U-14, U-16, and U-18 Greek National Team with the U-16 and U-18 squads winning European championships.

Sideri attended Ano Liosia High School helped her club team to a national championship in 2010 and 2012, nabbing National Championship MVP honors both years. She averaged 20.2 points, 5.2 assists and 2.5 steals in 2012 and 2010 she averaged 19.3 points, 3.5 assists and 2.1 steals.
