Jacki Wood was a left handed pitcher and utility player for the Cowgirls for 2014-15. Jacki transferred from West Virginia Tech where she was a two year starter finishing her career at WVU Tech as the all-time leading pitcher with Wins and helped them to a 5th place finish at the USCAA National Tournament. Overall Jacki appeared in 167 games, with a career .343 batting average, 177 hits, 19 doubles, 7 triples, 2 Home Runs, 61 RBI’s, 49 walks, scored 110 runs and stole 6 of 7 bases. In the pitching circle Jacki pitched 371.6 innings winning 27 games with a 4.65 ERA and striking out 225. Jacki has been a USCAA All-American and Academic All-American, 2014 RMAC 3rd Team All-Conference Utility Player, 3 time NFCA Scholar Athlete, Recipient of the 2014 Cowgirl Way Scholarship, 2015 1st Team RMAC All-Academic, RMAC Summit Award, and the 2014-15 NMHU RMAC Female Scholar Athlete.
