Before NMHU:  Comes to Las Vegas from Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado, where she played volleyball for Coach Kenzie Chrisman...Helped team to NJCAA National Tournment both years at Northeastern...Also played basketball at Northeastern in her sophomore year...Named to President's List.

Prep: 2023 graduate of Thompson Valley High School in Loveland, Colorado...Played for Coach Lester Thorne...Won Class 4A State Championship her junior and senior season...Named to the State Chmapionship All-Tournament Team her senior year...Lettered in basketball and tennis at Thompson Valley...Regional Champion in tennis her senior year...First Team All-Academic throughout high school.

Personal:  Daughter of Jana and Darin Piers and Steve and Brenda Wiersema..Sister to Madi, Rhyan, Justin, Andrew, and Camy...Her father played college hockey at Clavin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan...Her brother Justin played college basketball at Concordia College in Nebraska...her twin sister Camy played tennis at Aquinas College in Michigan.
