Cowgirls Cannot Stop #16 Mines

Box Score Lakewood, Colo. - The NMHU Cowgirls lost on the road in tonight's(Oct. 26) match against #16 Colorado School of Mines.  The Cowgirls, led by Head Coach Bryan Crawford, fall to 4-9 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and 10-12 in overall play.

#16 Colorado School of Mines shutout the Cowgirls tonight. The first set was rough and Mines was not letting your Cowgirls get points easy. Mines took the first set (25-11).

In the second set, the Cowgirls were in it (10-9) until Mines rallied up some huge hits and took that set (25-14). The last set, the Cowgirls battled until the end with Mines. The Cowgirls cut the lead down to (24-23), but just could not pull through. Mines took the final set (25-23).

The Cowgirls will continue conference action on Tuesday, Oct. 29, against  Colorado State University - Pueblo , in Las Vegas N.M. at the John A. Wilson Complex. The ThunderWolves  are 5-7 in the conference and 8-13 in overall play.  If you can't make it out to the gym to catch your Cowgirls in action, you can watch the match on the America One Network.
