Men's Basketball Excited for First Home Game

LAS VEGAS, N.M.- The Cowboys look to sleep in their own be the night before a game for the first time this season as the Cowboys will have their home and conference opener, this Saturday at 4p.m., against Western New Mexico University. The Cowboys will be looking to start conference on a high note after having a rough start to the season. Last Saturday, the Cowboys dropped a 95-63 game to the Lancers of California Baptist in Riverside, California.
 
In that game, the Cowboys struggled to get the ball in the hoop. The Cowboys made 35.8% of their shots while the Lancers sank 49.8% of theirs.
 
Leading the way for the Cowboys was Kaylen Shane with 14 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist; followed by Jonathon Mines with 11 points, and 3 rebounds.
