Las Vegas, NM- The New Mexico Highlands Women's Volleyball team stumbled to the Regis University Rangers, 3-1. The Cowgirls are now 5-12 overall, and 2-10 in RMAC.

First Set: Both teams came ready to compete as neither could break lose until the Rangers took a 15-10 lead, forcing the Cowgirls to take a timeout. They pulled away from the Cowgirls after the timeout as they extended their lead to 21-14. With their backs against the wall, the Cowgirls could not hold off the Rangers as they own the first set 25-15. Senior
Caroline Hansen finished with 2 kills and 5 digs for the first set.

Second Set: The Cowgirls got out to a slow start as they trailed 5-0 before calling another timeout. This was beneficial to as they scored their first three point of the set to bring the score to 7-3. The Cowgirls had to stop play again with a timeout, leaving the score board reading 12-6. They could not find any traction as the Rangers kept their lead at 21-13. Despite the solid play of Junior
Kristin Thomas, the Cowgirls would go on to drop the set by a score of 25-16.

Third Set: the Cowgirls had an early 2-0 lead, but the Rangers quickly erased that lead. The Rangers came back to take a 7-4 lead, forcing another Highlands timeout. The Cowgirls were looking at a 16-9 deficit as they tried to avoid the sweep. The Rangers were too much to handle however, as they closed out the set with a score of 25-13. Senior
Jasmine Dixon led the cowgirls with 2 blocks on the night.

th at 7:00 p.m.
