LAS VEGAS, N.M. ---Â The New Mexico Highlands volleyball team looks to get back on track as it hits the road to take on South Dakota Mines on Saturdayand Black Hills State on Sunday.
COWGIRLS HEADING INTO THIS WEEKÂ |Â 2021Â SEASON STATS
NMHU dropped two matches last week to Colorado Christian in five sets 3-2 (23-25, 25-23, 25-18, 24-26, 16-14) and to No. 1 MSU Denver  3-0 (25-21, 25-13, 25-14).
Lisi Langi continues to lead the team in kills at 2.89 per set while Terayah Studkes (2.32) and
Keegan Lopez (2.28) are averaging more than two per game with
Stacy Johnson just under at 1.97 kills per set.
Soleil Gandara continues to rank in the top 10 in the RMAC in assists at 10.1 per game while Johnson leads the team in aces at 0.23 per set.
Elena Rivera owns a team-best 4.01 digs per set while Johnson also leads the teams at 0.92 blocks per set.
SOUTH DAKOTA MINES HEADING INTO THE WEEKÂ |Â 2021 SEASON STATS
The Hardrockers dropped a pair of five-set matches on the road last week at Fort Lewis and at Western Colorado to extend its losing streak to three.
Jacey Koethe leads the team in kills per set at 2.16 followed by Dejah Behrend at 2.03. Kiley Metzger leads the team in assists at 4.97 followed by Shyann Bastian at 3.75 per set. Sydney Crites has a team-best 21 aces, Addie Stanley is averaging a team-best 3.91 digs per set while Koethe has a team-high 60 blocks (0.87 per set).
BLACK HILLS STATE HEADING INTO THE WEEKÂ |Â 2021 SEASON STATS
The Yellow Jackets had their losing streak extended to five after falling at Western Colorado 3-1 on Friday and at Fort Lewis 3-2 on Saturday.Â
Madison Hoopman has been the team's top threat at 3.21 kills per set and is followed by Sierra Ward (2.09) and Kindra Cerrone (2.03). Karly Marx leads BHSU at 7.87 assists per set while Cerrone and Haedyn Rhoades lead the team with 24 aces apiece. Rhoades also leads the team at 4.32 digs per set while Peyton Bodemann has a team-high 76 blocks.
