LAS VEGAS, N.M. ---Â The New Mexico Highlands volleyball team attempts to stay in the RMAC postseason hunt as the Cowgirls travel to take on Adams State 7 p.m. Tuesday at Plachy Hall.
NMHU currently sits two games out from the eighth-and-final RMAC postseason tournament spot with four games to go. Adams State is a game ahead of the Cowgirls as this contest gives them a chance to tie with the Grizzlies in the standings and split the season series (NMHU lost at home to Adams State in five earlier this season).Â

NMHUÂ split a pair of contests this past weekend, falling in four at Black Hills State before bouncing back to win in five at South Dakota Mines behind 19 kills from
Keegan Lopez.
Lisi Langi continues to lead the team in kills at 2.74 per set followed by Lopez (2.50),
Terayah Stukes (2.39), Angellina Oliver (1.94) and
Stacy Johnson (1.91).
Soleil Gandara is averaging a team-best 9.97 assists per set while Johnson leads the team with 27 aces.
Elena Rivera has a team-high 3.96 digs per set while Johnson leads the team in blocks per set at 0.88 - juts head of Oliver (0.85).

The Grizzlies dropped both contests on the road last weekend - falling at Black Hills State in five and losing to South Dakota mines in four as they have dropped four of their last five.
Sai Collins leads theteam in kills at 2.37 per set - but she hasn't played since early October. Shannon Mulkey is averaging 2.27 kills per set while Riley Rabedeaux is at 2.13. Bailey Schlosser (6.28 assists per set) and Madeleine Benally (5.22) are ASU's top setters. Aileen Bugas leads the team in digs (2.86 per set) while Mulkey (68) and Chasey Blach (65) lead the team in blocks.
