Las Vegas, NM --- The New Mexico Highlands baseball team dropped a pair of RMAC games to MSU Denver on Saturday afternoon at Brandt Field.

In game two of the four-game series against MSU Denver, the Cowboys took an early 1-0 lead after the first inning as
Gaylan Young scored
Estevan De La O with a sacrifice fly to deep left field before the Roadrunners held the Cowboys scoreless through six innings and scored eleven runs of their own.

Trailing 1-11 going in to the bottom of the seventh inning,
Cobe Lehman stepped in to the box and gained momentum for the Cowboys with a two-out single to center field.
Charles Morgan hit a double to right field to score Lehman as De La O registered his third hit of the game with a double down the left field line to score Morgan. The Roadrunners would go on to take game two 11-3.

The Cowboys registered nine hits while leaving 5 runners on base for the game as De La O led the team with three hits.
Ashton Roy went two for four while Morgan went one for two with an RBI.
Kalen Hammer (0-2) received the start on the mound giving up five runs off eight hits and striking out two Roadrunners.

Game three was all MSU Denver again as the Roadrunners bullpen held the Cowboys to two runs off six hits as the Cowboys couldn't keep up with the Roadrunners offense. The Roadrunners took game three 15-2 off fifteen hits.
Angel Castillo in four innings, gave up nine runs off nine hits and struck out one Roadrunner.
