LAS VEGAS, N.M. --- In a contest close throughout, the New Mexico Highlands men's basketball team fell to UCCSÂ 82-78 on Tuesday night at Wilson Complex.
The Cowboys and Mountain Lions were tied at 73 with 2:45 remaining before five consecutive points by UCCS helped it pull away for the win.
Marcus Brown led four Cowboys in double figures with 19 points to go along with five assists.
Desmond Carpenter had 16 points and three assists,
Andre Adams had 16 points and five rebounds while
Tyler Rodgers had 11 points.
NMHU returns to action Wednesday at Colorado School of Mines.
