Moses, Rodgers Hold Off Strong 2nd Half Push By Griffins

Las Vegas, NMCowboys win first one of New Years Weekend

12.30.22 At John A. Wilson Complex—
Friday night ends in a great team win for the Cowboys as they protect home court in a 77-73 victory. A team led by Dante Moses with 21 points produced 40 points off the bench. Tyler Rodgers had only made nine threes the entire year leading up to Friday night. He made over half of that total against the Griffins. Rodgers finished with 15 points and cashed in on a team high five three pointers on nine attempts. Moses also received a tremendous amount of help from the team's number one shooter Mario Archuleta. Archuleta finished with 12 points and knocked down four threes on nine attempts. This is a game that was on the verge of becoming a blowout at halftime. The Griffins came out with great energy and continued pulling within two points. Clutch buckets from Rodgers and Moses kept the game in The Cowboys control.

One more before 2023–Check out the Cowboys tomorrow as they take on another Conference opponent, Colorado Mesa!
