CANYON, Texas --- The New Mexico Highlands baseball team fell to West Texas A&M 17-2 on Sunday at Wilder Park.
NMHU fell behind 14-0 through five innings before scoring two in the top of the seventh on a two-run single from
Allan Salas.
The Cowboys mustered just four hits in the contents, though
Joe Kuhn was 1-for-1 with a double and three walks.
Angel Castillo picked up the loss, going three innings and giving up 10 runs (nine earned) on 10 hits, two hit batters and a walk.
NMHU returns to action Friday at Northerwestern Oklahoma State.
