Obioha, Scott Shine for Cowgirls

Alamosa, CO- Chisom Obioha came in first for long jump. Obioha won first team all conference last year. Expect Chisom to win many more competitions.

Kaitlyn Scott placed second in the weight throw. Scott, like Obioha is also an all conference athlete for NMHU. Scott should rank amongst the top throwers repeatedly all season for NMHU.

Alissa Martinez placed 3rd in Shot Put for NMHU on Saturday. Martinez is entering her sophomore season and will continue to improve for the Cowgirls moving forward.

Faith Lovato broke her own school record in the mile. Her time of 5:08 took six seconds off her previous record. Lovato's second school record in consecutive meets.
