Golden, Colorado - The Colorado School of Mines handed New Mexico Highlands a 3-0 (25-12, 25-17, 25-13) setback Saturday evening at Lockridge Arena in Golden. The Cowgirls are now 1-16 overall and 0-8 in RMAC matches.
Aziza Morris and
Jaylee Gonzales each recorded eight kills to lead NMHU.
Abby Carlsen had 15 assists in the match.
Defensively,
Angelina Burton led the Cowgirls with three blocks while
Sophia Hendricks-Montes had seven digs.
The Cowgirls are on the road again next weekend traveling for conference matches at Fort Lewis and Western Colorado.
