Soccer Season Concludes In Alamosa

Box Score Alamosa, Colorado - Adams State handed New Mexico Highlands a 4-0 defeat in the 2023 season finale for each team. The Cowgirls conclude their season with an overall record of 0-14-2 and 0-11-1 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference while the Grizzlies are 4-12-2 and 2-7-3.

The Grizzlies opened the scoring just over one minute into the match to take a 1-0 lead that would hold until halftime. Adams State would add a trio of second half goals to secure the 4-0 victory.

Freshman Peyton Greene appeared in 13 matches this season for the Cowgirls and led the RMAC with 98 saves this season.

With the conclusion of the 2023 season, the Cowgirls now turn their attention to the offseason. Additionally, NMHU soccer thanks Giselle Pinal, Manon Da Fonseca, Melissa Olivares, Jennifer Mueller, and Mia Ortiz, who played their final match as Cowgirls on Wednesday afternoon in Alamosa.
