Lubbock, Texas - The New Mexico Highlands women's cross country team was at Lubbock Christian University this morning for the NCAA South Central Regional Championships.
The Cowgirls finished 24th among the field of 26 teams.
Faith Lovato was the top finisher for NMHU completing the 6k course in 22:44.66.
"Faith's finish was a college best for her at the 6k distance and will earn her Academic All-American honors this season," said Head Coach
Bob DeVries. "Lucis Harrison,
Josey French and
Emma Hurren all ran their personal bests for 6k," he continued.
