Las Vegas, New Mexico - 16th ranked Regis University was too much for New Mexico Highlands University Saturday evening as the Rangers handed the Cowgirls a 3-0 set-back.
New Mexico Highlands is 1-12 overall and 0-3 in RMAC play while Regis improves to 8-3 overall and 3-0 in conference action.
Freshman
Seraiah Morgan paced the Cowgirls with seven kills on the night. Abbey Carlsen recorded 10 assists and the team's only service ace.
Aziza Morris and
Sophia Hendricks-Montes each had seven digs.
Layla Hooks led NMHU with four blocks.
Up next, the Cowgirls will host a three-team pod against Adams State University and Fort Lewis College Thursday through Saturday. NMHU plays Adams State on Thursday and Fort Lewis on Saturday.
