Las Vegas, New Mexico - One night after defeating the Colorado School of Mines 3-2, the Cowgirls hosted nationally-ranked MSU-Denver on Friday night and the Roadrunners came away with a 3-0 win. NMHU is 4-12 overall and 2-4 in the RMAC.
MSU-Denver, ranked second in this week's AVCA Division II Poll, out hit the Cowgirls .261 to .073 in the match.
Offensively, Jayle Gonzales paced NMHU with 10 kills.
Abby Carlsen recorded 21 assists.
Defensively,
Angelina Burton and
Aziza Morris each had two blocks.
Meg Pfannerstill had a team high 10 digs.
Up next the Cowgirls host Fort Lewis and Western Colorado next weekend.
